Dr. Michael Engs tells the story of The Clash at Bear Valley. This was the last fire fight between Indigenous people on the Continental United States and the Buffalo Soldiers and it took place in January 1918. Dr. Engs sifts through historical facts and brings them to life.

Dr. Michael Engs owner operator of Arizona Heritage Tours, LLC. He is a history consultant for organizations like Canoa Ranch of Pima County, Tucson Museum of Art, the Tucson Presidio Trust, and most recently Black Pilots of America.

The mission of Arizona Heritage Tours is to bring light to the lesser known contributions of African/Latino Americans in the Southwest from 1538 to the present.
