President of the Black Women’s Task Force Annie Sykes spoke with 30 Minutes about their upcoming 40th Anniversary Gala, their history, and other community organizations and events. The 40th Anniversary Gala takes place on Saturday, September 30th at Desert Diamond Casino. The event features Guest Speaker Seattle Police Department Assistant Chief Perry Tarrant. Community Honorees include: The Dunbar Coalition, Inc., Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, and TUSD African American Student Services Legacy of Excellence Committee.

The Black Women’s Task Force of Tucson is a non-profit organization which focuses on providing you with timely information on health, business, cultural, events, space to share stories and otherwise interact with the organization and other users.
