Today we’ll be hearing stories from City High Radio, an award-winning youth radio program run by teacher Sarah Bromer at City High School in downtown Tucson. The first story is from a recent episode produced by Geronimo Sanchez called “What Is Your Greatest Fear?” hosted by Alex Soto. Geronimo won first place for the Radio/TV/and Film Feature category in the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association’s student journalism contest in November 2019.
Now that schools are closed, City High Radio students have been recording diaries about what life is like in quarantine. Producers include freshman Julia Ortiz, Iman Flenory, Pilar Lopez, Cougar Miller, Aliya Grahm, and Geronimo Sanchez.
